Inspiration

I was recently asked a very good question: who or what inspires you in your life?

I would have to say that a lot of people influence me in many different ways. My mother's love for art, particularly painting inspires me to do it too. My father's love for photography taught me to also enjoy taking pictures of nature which in turn has won me many awards. Watching children be creative with games or crafts encourages me to come up with new and innovative ideas to keep them entertained. Even books...

Pride

The senseless tragedy in Orlando where 50 people were killed and 53 were injured as a result of a hate crime has left the world in shock. The shooting occurred at Pulse, at well known gay nightclub that was designed to be a safe and community venue. Over 300 people struggled to escape from the hail of bullets, many of them running so fast that their shoes fell off. I've been working super hard lately at designing book covers and decided to treat myself to brand new versions for all of my books. It will be officially announced later this week as they go live at online bookstores around the world. That's not all! We will also be having a special re-release event on June 18 and there will be prizes! Isn't that awesome?

Open Book

My life is like an open book, literally. I’ve written and published a trio of young adult novels, featuring a teen girl with a profound hearing loss.
