Renewed Hope

So far I'm not impressed with the beginning of 2018. It has already been a frustrating week and it's only the second day of January.  Mind you, it has nothing to do with going back to my regular routine after a week-long holiday break. My body was screaming at me to take time off, wanting to heal some old injuries that came back with a vengeance. I recently came across an article that reminded me of the importance of staying true to our heart. Following our dreams is more important than listening to someone trying to destroy it. Just because we have a hearing loss doesn't mean that we can't try.

Dreams

Book 3 in the trilogy series, Destiny, has only been out for less than a week and I've already had several readers finish it and exclaim "Wow!" and "Loved it!".  Even thought it's geared towards teens and young adults with disabilities, many adult readers have really taken a shine to it.  Numerous people that I didn't think would be interested in it, have followed the series from the very beginning which is absolutely remarkable.  I had no idea that they were so supportive and keen on reading...

Upside down and inside out

As Ricky Martin would say in Living La Vida Loca, my life certainly feels like it's upside down and inside out these days.  It's one of those moments when you stop and say "this is insane!"  That's a sign, a big one, that changes have to be made.  And it's definitely happening.
